I recently stayed at Gasthof Baren for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view of the mountains from the guesthouse. It was a truly amazing sight to wake up to. The breakfast offered a decent selection, and the kitchen was accommodating for special dietary needs. the hotel provided free parking, which is a rare find in Switzerland. The location was convenient, with a bus station right next to the hotel, making transportation easy.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The rooms at Gasthof Baren are cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. I loved having a private bathroom with a shower, it was a great convenience for me as a trekker. The satellite TV and radio in the room kept me entertained during my downtime.
Personally, I found the kitchenette in the apartment a bit small, but that's just my preference. Others might still find it perfectly suitable for their needs.

The restaurant downstairs served amazing pizza and salad, which I even enjoyed for breakfast the next day. The food was delicious and the waiter kindly brought it up to my room. The hotel rooms were comfortable and having a sink in the room was convenient. The shared bathroom was also spotless and well-maintained. Additionally, the hotel provided a free public transport pass, including trains, buses, and cable cars.
One downside was that people staying in the room in front of mine were constantly slamming their door, causing a lot of noise and disturbance. This was quite annoying and affected my overall experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness was top-notch, with spotlessly white bedding and a spotless shared bathroom. The hotel facilities were great, with comfortable rooms and a sink in the room for added convenience. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The location in the snowy mountains was breathtaking, with a great view across the Alps from the balcony and restaurant terrace. The hotel even provided a free public transport pass, including train, bus, and cable car, which made getting around this mountainous region a breeze.
Nothing, it was perfect.

The room was super cozy with a private bathroom. I felt so relaxed taking showers there. Plus, having satellite TV was a bonus. It made it feel like home.
The only thing I didn't love was the kitchenette. It was a bit small for my taste.

The view from this accommodation is absolutely mind-blowing, a jaw-dropping sight to wake up to. The breakfast spread at the nearby parent establishment caters to vegetarians and lactose intolerant folks. The staff at both places are super friendly and accommodating. And don't worry, even the outside neighbors aren't too bad! Perfect location for a 2-3 day hiking trip, with tidy rooms and helpful staff. Plus, the hotel provides a free public transport pass including train, bus, and cable car.

The view from the back was simply breathtaking, showcasing the stunning beauty of the surrounding mountains. The friendly staff at check-in made us feel right at home, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. Additionally, the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions such as cable cars and a regular bus service.

The hotel's decoration was charming and had a cozy, traditional feel to it. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable atmosphere for senior people. The hotel was also easily accessible, with no stairs or steep slopes to navigate, which made it convenient for older guests like myself.
I would have appreciated a more attentive and helpful staff, especially when it came to check-in and check-out. It would have been nice to have the assistance of knowledgeable staff members instead of relying solely on email communication.

I had a wonderful stay at this cosy and simple hotel. The restaurant downstairs served delicious pizza and salad, which I even had for breakfast the next morning. The views of the mountains from the family room were breathtaking, and the location was perfect with easy access to the ski resort and train station. The children's activity kit and menu in the restaurant made traveling with my tired and hungry kids a breeze. I highly recommend this hotel.
